Congratulations to the three newest National Board members! They are Anita Fuller, Laura Steele, and Jennifer Yelverton. They join Karyn Biggs, Patricia Cave, Pam Creel, Carol Flumerfelt, Angelica Jackson, and Paula Kozelka. If you are interested in finding out more about National Board Certification, you can contact anyone of these teachers or your OCEA office.

In more news:
Mentoring Mondays has started at Wright Elementary from 3:30-5pm. They are designed to help current candidates with portfolio development and/or assessment center exam preparation.

Standards are now available for certificates in EMC Literacy: Reading-Language Arts, Health Education, and School Counseling. While online application for the next candidate cycle opens this week...in Florida candidates need to wait until we know the outcome for funding support (unless you want to pay the full $2,300.00 on your own.) All potential candidates are encouraged to download your standards and portfolios but please wait until funding sources are known before applying. For further information, log on to the district's website and go to "Teachers", then "National Board".
